Aftercare

Grief doesn’t stop after the funeral, which is why aftercare for the bereaved is so important. Our staff are trained to help families through their road to recovery, and we have the resources and expertise to help you move forward. Our relationship with and responsibilities to our families do not end the day after the funeral service. Of course, our initial purpose is to assist you in honoring your loved one’s life, but we also expect to maintain strong and caring connections with our clients through our aftercare services.

Aftercare is the wide-ranging support services that we offer at Campbell Funeral Chapel after the conclusion of your loved one’s formal service. It may be as simple as a few follow-up questions over the phone or more robust guidance, including wills, powers of attorney, funeral preplanning, social security, pensions, and insurance. This practice has been a key aspect of the service culture at Campbell Funeral Chapel for many years and we believe that it helps our families make critical adjustments that promote healing and healthy living. We see all our clients are parts of our extended family.

We also encourage families to commit to grief support services, such as individual or small group therapy.
